How much Nos can be safely added to a internally stock engine?
I want to get more hp out of an 96 Integra GSR. It has all the bolton’s and has been tuned with them equipped but I don’t want to change the internals to lose the longevity of the motor. I already have a wet Nos kit that is just sitting in my house, 50 shot I believe depending on where you locate it of course, But again I don’t want to do anything that would fry my motor. How much would be considered safe?

Have you ever seen the damage caused by overuse / misuse of Nos?
First up, how many miles has this internally standard engine done? By increasing the internal forces of the components, this engine won’t last much longer. Higher compression on standard piston rings? Higher compression transferred through the conrods to the bearings? Standard valves inthe head?
By all means, go ahead with the conversion; just don’t call me when your engine components are spread all over the road.
